Joins depend on the range. Solid surface can be bonded into a near-invisible seam. Composite slabs are templated, cut in the workshop and installed with tightly controlled joints. We advise on the right joint for your layout at the quote stage.

How do you clean kitchen worktops?

Yes. Most of the brands we supply will provide up to 3 samples free of charge, provided we have given you a free quote. Sample availability varies by manufacturer: some brands send images rather than physical boards, and certain colours may carry a sample charge set by the manufacturer. We will advise you of any applicable charges before ordering. Many manufacturers do not provide samples of veined worktops, because around 80% of the slab is a plain field (often white) rather than the vein you see on screen. Typical Minerva worksurface thickness is 25 mm — a solid, contemporary profile that still needs proper support over dishwashers and at breakfast-bar overhangs.
Sink modules are commonly supplied around 3050 × 650 × 25 mm, with left- or right-hand bowls. Confirm your cabinet run and tap position before we order.
Applications: kitchen worktops, islands, breakfast bars, upstands, splashbacks and matching sink modules. Not for uncovered outdoor kitchens.
Installation: we template once the base units are in and level. Average supply-and-fit from order to installation is 14–17 days, faster if a slot becomes available.
Care: wipe with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Use a trivet for hot pans and a chopping board for food prep. Do not seal Minerva as if it were natural stone.
